A DARTMOUTH GEM - LUXURY TWO BEDROOM HOUSE WITH STUNNING VIEWS AND PARKING
16 CLARENCE HILL - THE HOUSE
This Architectural Jewel is excellently situated on the old medieval route into Dartmouth with far reaching views over the town and out to sea and renowned as being the narrowest house in Dartmouth. The facade is dated 1629 with exquisite carvings created in an era steeped in the towns Naval and shipbuilding history.
Originally an entrance and annex to Mount Galpine House, the home of the Holdsworth family, the house was completely renovated a few years ago to a standard of exceptional quality. The house is within a few minutes walking distance of the town centre and has the benefit of an adjacent private parking space and a southerly sitting area next to the old road of Clarence Hill.
The interior of the house has all the contemporary interior design touches you would expect from the designer and architect owner Simon Marson (www.mrtarchitects.co.uk) and his wife Nicky who will try to ensure your highest expectations are met. The design is simple but effective with a limited palette of materials including Bespoke Maple, sisal, glass, stone and aluminium with furniture and fittings from Italy, France, Sweden, Germany and England with an emphasis on comfort and convenience. All bed linen, duvets, towels, hair dryer and other household items are provided and we include fresh flowers and a bottle of fizz chilled for your welcoming celebratory drink.
This is a house and location to enjoy!
