16 Clarence Hill is available to book weekly between Saturday (after 4.00pm) and the following Saturday (vacate by 10.00am). We wish to hire 16 Clarence Hill between the dates of ________________ and ________________ and accept the terms and conditions of this Hire agreement. Signing this booking form and paying the deposit binds you contractually to the terms and conditions of this Hire. The contract is between the Hirer and N F Marson / S J Marson (the owners).
We have completed all the information you have asked for by filling in this form in its entirety and returning it to you as agreed. We accept the rates set out below and enclose a cheque for £100 as a non returnable deposit to reserve the property and agree to pay the balance 6 weeks before the Hire date indicated above.

The property is available each week from Saturday after 4.00pm to Saturday morning at 10.00am when you must sadly leave. Long weekends (minimum 3 nights) may also be available out of season subject to availability but likely to be at short notice only.

We will hold the property for you for 5 days after you have called but after this unless we have received the completed Booking Form and deposit we reserve the right to re offer the property.

The property is offered for hire for the maximum occupation of 4 adults only. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund if the number of occupiers is exceeded or (at the owner’s absolute discretion) make an additional charge.

The Hirer is responsible for any damage or breakage which occur to the property or its contents. A returnable security deposit of £100 is required to cover in part or whole any replacement or repairs.

The Hirer must not sublet or share the accommodation with anyone except the persons named on the booking form.

The Hirer is responsible for taking out their own insurance cover to include holiday cancellation cover.

In the event that the property is unable to be let as a result of unforeseen circumstances outside the owner’s control then a full refund will be given but the owner shall not be liable for any compensation or damage howsoever caused.

If the Hirer wishes to cancel for whatever reason they must do so in writing as soon as practicable but will be liable to the full amount due unless the owner is able to re let the property when a refund will be made less any loss or expenses incurred in the re letting.

In the unlikely event of any complaints, the Hirer must notify the owner as soon as practicable and in any event within five days of the end of the hire period. Failure to do so will extinguish or severely affect any rights the Hirer may have.

We will be pleased if you leave the property in the condition it was found except for bed linen and towels which will be professionally cleaned after your visit.

Parking for strictly one car only is available directly opposite the house. Other adjoining spaces for our lovely neighbours cars are fiercely guarded as are all private parking opportunities in Dartmouth.

Furnishings, cutlery, crockery and equipment within the house are not to be removed from the property.

Smoking is not allowed in the house.

Pets and children are normally prohibited, but ask as we do make exceptions.

Due to location of the property on Clarence Hill and because the house has three storeys with bedrooms at the top it is unlikely to suit a wheelchair user or young children.

Once we have received your completed booking form and cheque we will confirm the arrangements in writing and send it to you.

The tenancy created by this agreement is a holiday let within paragraph 9 of part 1 to schedule of the Housing Act 1988.
